Even start. Shortly after the start there was a general scrimmage involved all runners causing MYTH BUSTER to be hampered in running and lose ground as well as RUNAWAY JET and BEAN MEANING to be severely hampered and lose severe ground. Approaching the 630m boxes RAGING ENFORCER shifted ground inwards and hampered the running of MICK’S WRECK causing MICK’S WRECK to shift ground out and subsequently hamper the running of RUNAWAY JET and BEAN MEANING. Over the concluding stages MYTH BUSTER turned it’s head outwards towards SOOKY PUSS however has not made any contact. Stewards spoke to the trainer of MYTH BUSTER Mr. Darren Russell and advised Mr. Russell that the greyhound MYTH BUSTER would be charged with failing to pursue under rule 69(1)(b), 1st offence, and stood down for 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial all tracks.
OCTANE GOLD and MR. WATERFRONT were slow to begin. Rounding the 1st turn JAMES QUATRO was tightened for room between runners SERBIAN LEGEND and POLDAR GEM causing JAMES QUATRO to be hampered in running and lose ground. As a result of this incident HOW ARE YOU was also hampered in running. Approaching the 630m boxes JAMES QUATRO was hampered in running when POLDAR GEM shifted ground inwards causing JAMES QUATRO to lose ground and subsequently hamper the running of MR. WATERFRONT who was following. Entering the home straight when racing in a rearward position both JAMES QUATRO and MR. WATERFRONT were racing tight and bumping.
Race 3
ANGEL ENFORCER was slow to begin and immediately after the start was tightened for room in between runners IN THE WRONG and DAVID’S CHOICE. At the same stage QUEENS AND TENS and BLACK MERC raced tight and bumped causing BLACK MERC to shift ground outwards. Approaching the 630m boxes when racing in a rearward position DAVID’S CHOICE was hampered in running and lost ground when ANGEL ENFORCER shifted ground inwards.
Race 4
CHERRY DARLING was slow to begin. Shortly after the start PASIFIKA BOY shifted ground inwards and hampered the running of JESSIE’S BOUY and BROAM. In the home straight NAPOLI PRINCESS commenced shifting ground inwards before turning it’s head inwards and made contact with TIGER SWIFT marring the running of TIGER SWIFT. Stewards spoke to the trainer of NAPOLI PRINCESS Mrs. Deborah Arnold and advised Mrs. Arnold that the greyhound NAPOLI PRINCESS will be charged with marring under Rule 69(1)(a), 1st offence, and stood down for 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trail all tracks.
Race 5
Even start. Entering the bottom turn NO LIFESAVERS and MAVERICK LEE have bumped with NO LIFESAVERS becoming unbalanced. Shortly afterwards MIDORI STAR was hampered in running when NO LIFESAVERS shifted ground inwards.
Race 6
FAST MOVER BURNS was slow to begin. Shortly after the start CASUAL MAK and BREAK THE CYCLE bumped causing BREAK THE CYCLE to shift ground outwards and bump with CRADLE EBONY resulting in BREAK THE CYCLE losing ground.
Race 7
LONG TIME GONE was slow to begin. Rounding the 1st turn there was general scrimmaging involving ROTTEN APPLES, KING LEE and PARRA STATE. Shortly afterwards PARRA STATE checked off the heels of KING LEE and lost ground. Entering the home straight ROTTEN APPLES shifted ground inwards and collided with CRACKA TEDDY with both runners becoming unbalanced.
Race 8
Even start. Shortly after the start BOREMAN and SERBS YOU RIGHT were hampered in running when AUTUMN WALTZ shifted ground inwards. Passing the 630m boxes SPIDERMAN TWO was hampered in running when HIGH CLASS BROAD shifted ground inwards causing SPIDERMAN TWO to lose ground. Immediately afterwards when vying for the lead LILAC IN LOVE has eased of it’s own accord and turned it’s head outwards towards HIGH CLASS BROAD however has not made any contact. Subsequently LILAC IN LOVE was vetted and upon examination was found to be injured in running and stood down for 10 days. Stewards then spoke to the trainer of LILAC IN LOVE Mrs. Deborah Simon and advised the trainer Mrs. Simon that the greyhounds would be charged under Rule 71 unsatisfactory performance and must be perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial all tracks prior to resuming racing.
Race 9
AYANA stumbled at the start. Rounding the bottom turn DRIVING DAISY and HARBOUR QUEEN raced tight and were bumping. Shortly afterwards RAIL RAIDER checked off the heels of HARBOUR QUEEN and lost ground. Approaching the 630m boxes DRIVING DAISY was tightened for room when HARBOUR QUEEN shifted ground inwards. Immediately afterwards HARBOUR QUEEN continued to shift ground inwards and hampered the running of ZOOM LION.
Race 10
Prior to the running of the race the handler of MAKUSHLA had difficulties placing MAKUSHLA into the starting boxes. Stewards advised Mr. Michael Briant trainer of MAKUSHLA that stewards would be monitoring the loading of MAKUSHLA in future events.
SURFER JACK and MAJOR SPIRIT were slow to begin. Shortly after the start MAJOR SPIRIT shifted ground inwards onto the rails. Approaching the catching pen DIAL TRIPLE OH checked off the heels of MAKUSHLA.
