The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

GENERAL

Race 1

SADDLE TRAMP was slow to begin. Shortly after the start SADDLE TRAMP raced greenly at the rear of the field.

Race 2

Shortly after the start STATION BOND and WILD CINDERS collided resulting in both runners to become unbalanced. A short distance later EMI BOND stumbled losing some ground. Passing the 275m mark STATION BOND shifted ground outwards severely checking the running of WILD CINDERS resulting in that runner to lose significant ground.

Race 3

CHANEL’S BOSS and AMERICAN ZEPHA collided shortly after the start.

Race 4

Even start. No incidents to report.

Race 5

TOFFEE TIM, SMART FANCY and HEY TAXI all raced tight and bumped shortly after the start. Passing the 250m mark HEY TAXI shifted ground inwards and collided with MAYWYN EASY resulting in MAYWYN EASY to fall heavily taking no further competitive part in the event.

Race 6

GRO GO JACK, LATE SHOW LEE and TWO AMIGOS all raced tight and bumped shortly after the start. Passing the 100m mark GRO GO JACK shifted ground outwards and hampered the running of BRIAN for some distance.

Race 7

Even start. Over the concluding stages RAIL RAIDER and WHAM BAM raced tight for some distance.

Race 8

Shortly after the start UTMOST ELITE and HANIFY QUEEN collided resulted in HANIFY QUEEN to lose ground.

Race 9

FLYING SHAK was slow to begin. Approaching the water tank WITCH FLYER and OUR BEEWAH BOB collided with both becoming unbalanced. Approaching the winning post SURF THE REEF improved onto the heels of HERVEY BAY FLYER resulting in SURF THE REEF to fall.
