The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

GENERAL

 

The greyhound PASKA performed a satisfactory stewards’ weight (12 months) trial over the distance over 395m and is now cleared to nominate all tracks.

 

The greyhounds TURNING ANGLE performed a satisfactory stewards’ weight trial over the distance over 395m and is now cleared to nominate all tracks.

 

Race 1

SUMMER’S SIZZLER and PACIFIC TYCOON were slow to begin.  Passing the catching pen BOYZO moved up on the inside of HEZ OCCY turning it’s head out towards HEZ OCCY not making contact but hampering the run of HEZ OCCY.  BOYZO continued to hamper the running of HEZ OCCY into the back straight.  The handler of the greyhound BOYZO Mr. Alan Dargusch declined the 2nd inspection of the greyhound.  This greyhound will be charged under Rule 69 (1) (b) failing to pursue, 2nd offence, 3 months plus be required to perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial all tracks.

 

Race 2

SUMMER LUCKY was slow to begin.  FOOL’S MONEY and PURELY GOLD collided shortly after the start losing ground.

 

Race 3

TUFFAZ and RUNNING LATE dwelt at the start.  Entering the back straight ELSIE TANNER shifted wide when checking off the heels of RUNNING LATE.  As a result of ELSIE TANNER shifting out it checked the running of MATISSE’S ANGEL and RUNNING LATE with all greyhounds losing ground.

 

Race 4

SUNARIAN lost ground when checking off the heels of VINTAGE CARBINE at the start.  Entering the back straight AZUSA and HIGHTON SURF both bumped.  Passing the 600m boxes VINTAGE CARBINE and BLACK NARCISSUS shifted wide losing ground.

 

Race 5

RAIL RAIDER was slow to begin.  REGAL VICE, HIGHWAY HOON and DASHING BEAUTY were racing tight and bumping shortly after the start.  Approaching the bottom turn HIGHWAY HOON and DASHING BEAUTY both shifted wide losing significant ground.

 

Race 6

ARABIAN JUJU, SLAMMIN’ SAM, ALL JAZZY and MOON DREAMS all dwelt at the start.  Approaching the bottom turn ALWAYS was losing ground on the rails.  ALWAYS continued to lose ground for the remainder of the event.

 

Race 7

All greyhounds were tightened for room at the start.  Approaching the back straight FAST MOVER BURNS checked off the heels of STAFFORD PUNTERS resulting in FAST MOVER BURNS shifting out colliding heavily with DEW DROP HILL.  DEW DROP HILL fell at this point and took no further competitive part in the event.  Shortly after this incident STAFFORD PUNTERS and CHARIOT HAWK collided heavily.  Approaching the home turn CHARIOT HAWK shifted out hampering the run of ELITE JUNO.

 

Race 8

SUNA SURF was slow to begin.  BERELLA RIHANNA, SMOKEY GIRL, INTREPID SPIRIT and REGAL BOUND were racing tight and bumping shortly after the start with all greyhounds losing some ground.

 

Race 9

SAINT JIMMY was checked at the start.  Over the concluding stages ONE IN TEN shifted out colliding with GRANNY STATE.

 

Race 10

MORAYFIELD FLASH and OCTANE POWER were slow to begin.  Entering the back straight BELLI TEN galloped on the heels of DARK WHISPER resulting in BELLI TEN checking wide and hampering the run of DARK WHISPER.  DARK WHISPER lost momentum shortly after this incident, as a result of this incident.  Passing the 600m boxes BEAU ROAD shifted out colliding with BELLI TEN who then collided with DARK WHISPER with all greyhounds losing ground.
